In an incredible show of strength, US Marine Staff Sgt. Jose Luis Sanchez (ret.) completed the 121st Boston Marathon .. with his prosthetic leg.

Proud to be an American 🇺🇸 #bostonmarathon

Sanchez completed the entire 26.2 mile race on his prosthetic leg .. while carrying the American flag.

In 2011, Sanchez lost his leg after stepping on an IED in Afghanistan. This is especially powerful since the Boston Marathon was hit hard by radical Islamic terrorists in 2013, in a bombing that blew up the street. For Sanchez (who is an amputee himself) to complete that race (where many citizens became amputees) is extremely powerful. And the cherry on top is him running across the finish line with Ole Glory hanging high.
