Last night from Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump announced that he ordered 59 Tomahawk missiles to be dropped on a Syrian airbase in response to the brutal gas killing of innocent civilians.

In response, the Syrian gov’t called it ‘aggression’ but not necessarily an act of war. The Russian gov’t has had a difference response though. Russia PM Dmitry Medvedev said that the U.S. strikes puts America ‘one step away’ from war with Russia.

Two GOP Senators who are quite critical of President Trump, McCain & Graham, praised Trump’s order to destroy the Syrian airfield.

Many of the far-right Trump supporters have turned on Trump due to his act of aggression against Russia (by attacking Syria), but I totally disagree with those pro-Russia Trump supporters. I understand wanting to have a better relationship with Russia, and Trump has extended his hand as far as he can. But for Russia to support the genocide of innocent Syrian civilians, is just something Trump can not allow to happen. Trump did warn the Russians prior to the attack, therefore any Russian personnel could leave the area if they were around.
