JUST A FEW DAYS AGO, on Valentine’s Day, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington D.C. to meet with President Donald J. Trump.
They officially met on Wednesday.
Due to President Obama’s lies/deceit, US-Israel relations have been supremely weakened. Right before President Obama left office, he gave the ‘proverbial middle finger’ to Israel by deciding not to submit a vote at the UN on the Israeli settlements.
Read my article on it here.
Trump and Netanyahu have had a warm relationship since the start and that continued. President Trump has announced he wants to move the embassy to Jerusalem and has made a ‘big bang’ by saying he is pushing for a ONE-STATE POLICY.
WASHINGTON — President Trump jettisoned two decades of diplomatic orthodoxy on Wednesday by declaring that the United States would no longer insist on the creation of a Palestinian state as part of a peace accord between Israel and the Palestinians.
To pursue a one-state policy, it would be truly controversial. Many liberals support Palestine and hate Israel, which is illogical of them because Palestinian Muslims push gays off buildings — while Israelis are tolerant people who generally support gays.
President Trump said he’s “looking at a two-state and one-state” solution.
President Trump did not back away from the one-state solution, which is a bombshell and puts PALESTINIAN RADICAL MUSLIMS on RED ALERT.
President Trump did say that he “can live with either” solution. Due to the hot tempers and violence in the region, President Trump understandably asked Netanyahu to “hold back on settlements for a bit” ..
The two-state solution has been attempted for decades but it has not worked worth a damn. President Trump’s ‘peace through strength’ approach may be the key to fixing the Israel-Palestine conflict. President Trump, being the master negotiator and tremendous deal-maker he is, stated that “we’re going to make a deal” on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Trump, during the presser, turned to Netanyahu and reminded him that both ISRAEL & PALESTINE “will have to make compromises” .. and Netanyahu responded with a smile, saying “Both sides” in solidarity with POTUS’ statement.
Netanyahu also noted that his prerequisites is that Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state and that Israel maintain security control over the entire WEST BANK. Netanyahu noted that the MAJOR BLOCKADE preventing peace is the PALESTINIAN HATRED & RACISM. He noted that families of terrorists get payments and that Palestinians build statues for radical Muslim terrorists who inflict brutal violence on innocent, peaceful Israelis. Palestinian leaders are obviously not happy with Trump’s statement on the one-state solution. Ghaith al-Omari, a senior official at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, said that President Trump’s eagerness for a new peace push could comfort Palestinians .. along with President Trump’s respectful request for Israel to currently stop building settlements.
President Trump and his Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner are considering an ‘outside-in’ approach, which means ENLISTING FRIENDLY ARABIAN NATIONS to support ISRAEL & then utilizing those same Arab nations to help broker a solution with Palestine. Also, those same Arab nations will stand with Israel against the radical jihadi Iranians, who have become a nuclear threat. On Tuesday, CIA Director Mike Pompeo [appointed by Trump] met with Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah in the West Bank on Tuesday.
The presser lasted roughly 30 minutes.
The presser, uniquely, took place before meetings and occurred right as Israel PM Netanyahu arrived. Trump referred to Netanyahu as a good “friend” and said that US and Israel have an “unbreakable bond”, as they both share values of freedom and peace. Trump said “Israel is a symbol to the world of RESILIENCE in the face of OPPRESSION” .. Trump also said that we’ll always remember “what the Jewish people have endured.” Trump once again SLAMMED Obama’s terrible Iran Nuclear Deal. He said due to it, Israel faces “enormous” danger due to Iran. Trump said the Iran nuke deal was “one of the worst deals” he has ever witnessed. Trump condemned the UN for bullying Israel. Netanyahu thanked Trump for the warmhearted welcome and said he deeply values Trump’s friendship. Netanyahu said “Israel has no better ally than the United States” and then said that “the United States has no better ally than Israel.”
Netanyahu then said that under President Trump’s leadership the US-Israel relationship will get even stronger. Netanyahu showed his true respect for Trump’s brave approach to RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISM.
“Under your leadership, I believe we can reverse the rising tide of radical Islam…Israel stands with you and I stand with you,”
-Israel PM Netanyahu
Trump was asked about his former Nat’l Security Adviser, US Army Lt. Gen. Flynn. Trump said the media treated him “Very, very UNFAIRLY by the media” .. Trump said Flynn is a truly great and wonderful man.
President Trump then was asked about the Israeli settlements. Trump asked Netanyahu to “hold backs on settlements for a little bit”, which drew a reply from Netanyahu saying “We’ll try” .. Trump said that didn’t sound optimistic, which Netanyahu cleverly remarked “That’s THE ART Of The DEAL“!
POTUS Trump and Netanyahu then discussed the one-state and two-state solutions. Trump also said he would “love to see” the U.S. embassy move to Jerusalem, despite the controversy. Trump said that his administration is looking at the relocation “very, very strongly” and “with great care.”
POTUS also noted that Palestine must acknowledge Israel’s existence, which as of now — they refuse to do. Netanyahu then addressed the Israeli settlements topic and said that it’s “not the core of the conflict” ..
That concluded the presser.
By the way, Netanyahu supports the wall.
