Our amazingly brave veterans have been treated terribly by President Obama and his administration. President-elect Trump has talked about how horribly the vets have been treated and he’s promised to fix the VA once he is the Commander-in-Chief.
Under President Obama, another example of COMPLETE DISREGARD for our amazing veterans has [sadly] just arose.
At an Oklahoma VA facility, four employees have been forced to resign from their jobs due to their gross negligence of an elderly veteran, in their ‘care’.
The veteran came to the facility to get his infection treated and ultimately died due to sepsis. Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs executive director said that the maggots were discovered while the veteran was still alive. Despite this, the veteran still died with maggots in his wound. Apparently, the maggots were not the reason that the veteran died. Nevertheless, this is very insane that the VA employees did not remove the maggots from his wound while he was still living. It truly shows gross negligence.

Four resign from Talihina veterans center after resident found with maggots in wound
Four staff members at the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs Talihina facility have resigned after a resident who later died was found with maggots in a wound, the agency said.
Executive Director Myles Deering said the maggots were discovered while the patient was alive but were not the cause of his death. He said the man came into the center with an infection.
“He did not succumb as a result of the parasites,” Deering said Tuesday. “He succumbed as a result of the sepsis.”
Sepsis is a potentially life-threatening complication of an infection.A physician’s assistant and three nurses, including the director of nursing, resigned in the wake of the investigation, said Shane Faulkner, a spokesman for the agency.
“All four chose to resign before the termination process began,” Faulkner said.
It’s very sad [and disgusting] to see President Obama show more concern for illegal immigrants than he does for our amazing veterans. I can’t wait for President-elect Trump to be inaugurated, because Lord knows our great and brave veterans need a Commander-in-Chief who actually cares for them.
